Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts     

Spencer Tong joined the Dr. Phillips Center in 2017. As Executive Vice President, Spencer oversees and manages core operational areas of the Dr. Phillips Center campus. In addition, he is overseeing the construction and integration of existing operations with the new expansion of one of the world’s most acoustically perfect spaces, Steinmetz Hall and Judson’s, a dynamic music room with cabaret-style seating.
Spencer has an extensive background in corporate operational leadership, including a 27-year career with SeaWorld, of which half was spent in Orlando in park operations leadership roles. He also worked at Busch Entertainment corporate headquarters in St. Louis as Corporate Director of Operations and Executive Liaison to the president and chairman of the board where he provided corporate strategy, best practice and
standardization initiatives for company-wide operations.
Prior to joining the Dr. Phillips Center, Spencer was the Vice President of Operations for SeaWorld San Antonio, where he managed core operational areas.
